Activity: Medicinal Cocktail Mixing at the Hidden Rooms
24 June, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Got a sore throat? Try a Champagne Cocktail
Healthcare and medicine have improved immensely in the last few centuries, but tinctures and plant-based remedies remain in popular use. The very best homespun restoratives still involve a dash or two of alcohol.
Working with our hosts for the evening, Hidden Rooms, we are holding a very select and special cocktail-mixing session to explore the historical curatives associated with the ingredients of our favourite modern-day tipples.
After a complimentary drink on arrival, expert mixologists will teach you how to make two delicious and very unique cocktails, the likes of which you will have never tasted before. The bar will then remain open for participants to enjoy until 7:00pm.
We support ‘drink aware’, https://www.drinkaware.co.uk/
Cocktail-making is a physical activity that can require delicate motor skills. Some tasks might not be easily accomplished by those with a dextrous impairment. Please do not drink to excess before arrival; when in doubt we reserve the right to refuse entry. Do take your time to familiarise yourself with the Frequently Asked Questions on our Eventbrite Ticket Page before booking.
