DESCRIPTION:Toys can be just as fun when they’re broken. \nCome and learn how in this half term workshop.  \nInspired by local folk tales\, you will create a work of art using broken toys in this workshop with A Toy’s Life and Beyond.  You can then use the toys to tell your own stories. \nThe aim of this workshop aims to benefit children in several ways: \n\nChildren can learn about local history and folklore through a hands-on-approach activity.\nChildren can learn about re-using\, recycling and the environment in a personal\, creative and novel way.\n\nNote: you are welcome to bring your own broken toys from home as long as they have no sharp edges

SUMMARY:Twilight at the Museums
DESCRIPTION:Held every February half term\, Twilight at the Museums is a FREE after-hours event for families.  \nSet out and discover local museums and collections in a completely new way. With darkened galleries for torch lit exploration and other hands-on activities throughout the evening\, there are lots of things for families to enjoy. \nTry our Wicked Witches and Fantastic Folklore trail\, exploring the local and social history of Cambridge. \nDue to limited space in the Museum rooms\, we’ll be offering staggered entry through pre-bookable timeslots. You can spend as much time as you wish exploring the Museum\, the staggered entry just ensures that everyone has the space to explore to their hearts content!

DESCRIPTION:Our Cambridge at Your Museum are very excited to announce a fantastic new exhibition in collaboration with Cambridgeshire women’s organisations.  \n  \n“The exhibition will demonstrate how women can achieve things when they work together inclusively.” \n\n \n\n\nWomen\, Unity\, Strength is an exhibition of artistic responses to the theme from women around Cambridge as well as an exploration of the situations women have lived in throughout history. \n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis collaborative exhibition involves women from Corona House\, Cambridge Women’s Aid\, Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre\, Sew Angry and other Women’s organisations in Cambridge.\n\n  \n** Unfortunately\, as of 17 March\, the Museum is closed until further notice on government advice and so this exhibition has now finished. **
