SUMMARY:Capturing Cambridge Open Day - Thursday 28th March
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Capturing Cambridge Open Day where you can share your memories of Cambridge city and the wider county. This free one-day event allows locals the opportunity to record their histories. By dropping into the Museum you can help grow our collection of local heritage by telling us about the schools you studied at or the places you worked. Be sure to bring any pictures or documents that might help to tell these stories (we won’t keep them\, we’ll just take copies). We will then upload these histories to our Capturing Cambridge project. Visit Capturing Cambridge to learn more Capturing Cambridge | Discover Cambridge through the ages. \nNot lived in Cambridgeshire long but love local history? Not to worry\, we still want to hear from you! In particular\, any stories or photographs you have of your time during the COVID-19 lockdowns. These memories will support Capturing Cambridge’s digital exhibition commemorating this unique period of history. \nBook or drop in  \nThe workshop will take place between 11am and 4pm on Thursday 28th March. It is free to attend and you can simply drop in. You can book beforehand through Eventbrite or visit the  Museum’s events page.  If you are unable to make the event\, or know someone who would want to get involved but is unable to attend\, you can still take part by visiting capturingcambridge.org/contact/ and emailing us your histories. \nSupporting the Museum of Cambridge \nThe Museum of Cambridge is an independent Charity and is not part of either the Cambridge Council or the University of Cambridge.
