SUMMARY:You Are Invited: Launch of Legacies of Windrush in Cambridgeshire
DESCRIPTION:The Museum of Cambridge warmly invites you to a special event celebrating the launch of the Legacies of Windrush in Cambridgeshire project. Join us on October 19th\, from 2 pm – 5 pm for an afternoon of celebration\, storytelling\, and community. \nWe are honoured to welcome our partner in this project\, Dr Carol Brown-Leonardi who will give a talk highlighting the significance of the Windrush generation’s contributions and legacy. You will also hear more about the project from the Museum of Cambridge\, and how you or your loved ones can get involved. This event will mark the beginning of an exciting journey to collect and share the stories of the Windrush Elders\, preserving them for future generations through an exhibition and events.
