SUMMARY:Telling Our Tales - Storytelling Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Calling the folk of Cambridge aged 18-100 – we need your voice! Come and join us at the Museum of Cambridge to help to build our city’s story of lockdown experiences for the Time Capsule Project\nThe ability to engage others by telling stories has been a significant way of communicating messages through time and across cultures. Unlock your inner storyteller and share your stories and experiences in this supportive workshop. Learn the skills of storytelling and build your confidence to tell your tale to others\, whilst having a lot of fun! \nHelp us to keep everyone safe by taking a lateral flow test before arriving at the event\, and not attending if you feel unwell. In order to run a safe event and not disappoint anyone once spaces are full\, booking is essential and you can reserve your free places here using Eventbrite\, or should you prefer\, do feel free to email us directly: sarah.hutton@museumofcambridge.org.uk. \nWorkshops are running on multiple dates across August. \nPlease note that photographs will be taken throughout the session\, and images taken will be used to promote further Museum events\, as well as in funding reports. If you do not wish your photograph to be taken\, please make sure to let us know ahead of time. Audio recordings of the story we make together will be made for the time capsule. \nBooking is via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/telling-our-tales-storytelling-workshop-tickets-386256502597 \nA big thank you to the funding provided by the Vaccine Access Grant and Cambridge City Council to run these exciting workshops.
