Anne Asley’s Embroidery

£100.00

You might have only started your embroidery habit in the last lockdown, but some of us have been doing it for centuries.

I was stitched by little Anne Asley, only eleven years old the wee lamb! Look at her magnificent embroidery skills – quite impressive for one so young.

Because I’m made of textile, I’m in constant danger from pests, so the Museum has to keep a very close eye on me and banish any resident creepy-crawlies (except spiders…we love spiders!).

I’m the perfect gift for any enthusiastic embroiderers out there, aged 11 or 111.
