Join us at the Museum of Cambridge this Easter for a journey through folklore and fun with our special Folklore Explorer Trail. Uncover the tales and traditions that have shaped Cambridge, and engage in hands-on craft activities perfect for families! The Museum is open every day during the school holidays so you never have to miss out on the fun.

Folklore Explorer Trail 🔎

• Dates: 29th March – 15th April
• Time: Available during museum opening hours
• Details: Embark on an adventure through the Museum. Follow the clues, discover the stories, and complete the trail for a special non-edible Easter surprise!*
• Admission: Normal Museum Entry applies to access the trail. Children 16 and Under visit for free. No booking required for the trail

Family Craft Activities 🎨 🐣

• Dates: 29th March, and 5th April 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Details: Dive into the world of vintage crafts. Create your own folklore-inspired cards and 3D flowers, and learn to draw flowers and insects from vintage lesson cards.
• Suitable for: Children aged 6 and above, accompanied by adults.
• Tickets: There’s no need to book tickets, drop in any time during the day to try different vintage crafts.

Getting Here

We are in the centre of Cambridge. You’ll find us at the corner of Castle Street and Northampton Street. We are right beside Kettle’s Yard and only a 15-minute walk from King’s College.

You can park your bike at the bike parks on Bridge Street or on Northampton Street. There is a bus stop on Bridge Street. Check out the Stagecoach website to plan your journey to and from the Museum. Find out more about how to get here by train, bike, bus, car or on foot on our website.
