Private View “Agatha Christie: her life and characters”

17 July 2023, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for a special evening at the Museum of Cambridge as we unveil our new exhibit, “Agatha Christie: an exhibition of her life and characters.”

This private view is open to Friends of the Museum of Cambridge as well as the public to explore the Museum after hours and be among the first to see the new exhibit.

Guests will be greeted with a glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternatives!) on arrival before being given a chance to explore the new display and the Museum while it is closed to the public.

The new exhibit explores the marvellous life of the celebrated author Agatha Christie. In it, you will see objects and memorabilia from films, plays and stories that bring her beloved characters to life. Want to dress up as your favourite Agatha Christie character? Feel free! Explore the Museum in your best costume or disguise!

The reception will take place from 5 pm-7 pm on Monday,17th July, and is a fantastic opportunity to meet Friends, trustees and supporters of the Museum as well as get a sneak peek at the new display. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Friends scheme and how you can support the Museum of Cambridge.

Do book your ticket here. Admission is £5.50 and helps cover the cost of staying open late and putting on events like this. Book your tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/private-view-agatha-christie-exhibition-opening-tickets-667418114547?aff=oddtdtcreator
