You can sign up to be a Friend as an individual, or as a joint Friendship with anyone who loves the Museum of Cambridge as much as you! A Friendship also makes a great gift for a loved one for that special birthday or anniversary.
The Museum of Cambridge is an independent charity; we are not run by either the local council or the University. This means we rely entirely on entrance fees, room hire, donations, the work of volunteers and the generosity of our Friends to survive.
Friends enjoy free admission to the Museum, as well as special Friends-only events and priority booking for other occasions. You'll also get a 15% discount in the shop, and on hire of the Museum, as well as an exclusive Friends newsletter.
Becoming a Friend is a great way of getting involved with the Museum of Cambridge and meeting a diverse community of fellow supporters of the Museum. Your subscription helps fund the preservation of our collection and archives, the development of events and outreach work, and special exhibitions and displays.
