Join us for a 90-minute walking tour as we explore Hidden Cambridge, taking in the streets, alleys, buildings and history of the people living in the area between St John’s College and Quayside, before crossing the river to Castle Hill and the Museum of Cambridge.
A cast of prominent local thespians will rediscover the suffrage themes of Mary Ward's work Man and Woman - The Question of the Day, which was performed in 1909. The evening will be introduced by Dr Ann Kennedy Smith.
It’s been more than 400 years since the Gunpowder Plot, but it’s still remembered each year with a host of bonfires and firework displays.

Join us from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday 16 November for a special opening night event to celebrate the launch of the exhibition. Come and hear stories from the Travelling People of Cambridgeshire, the event will include speakers, music and refreshments.
A rare opportunity to view some of the unique items that comprise the Newnham College collection
Join us on a visit to Newnham College to see their acclaimed suffrage banner. First seen during a procession organised by the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies on 13 June 1908. The visit will include a chance to see items donated by the artist and collector Christiana Herringham (1852-1929), an early benefactor of the college and an influential suffrage campaigner.
