Map Murmurations at the Museum of Cambridge!

Exploring your surroundings can lead to all kinds of discoveries, connections and resilience. Map Murmurations is a project that is bringing generations together as they explore their surroundings through creative community engagement.

Working with different organisations to support communities and be creative about how we engage with our surroundings, Map Murmurations uses maps as a way to encourage people to explore their local area. Maps can explore your city, favourite park, or even your own home.

The Museum of Cambridge is excited to work with artist Kaitlin Ferguson to deliver three workshops in August. These hands-on workshops will explore the museum’s collection of maps, inspiring you to work together to create your own map inspired by the past and present.

These sessions are perfect for families to enjoy together – no experience needed! Suitable for ages 10+.

Book your workshop place:

Thursday 7th August 1 pm – 3 pm

Friday 15th August 1 pm – 3 pm

Thursday 28th August 1 pm – 3 pm
