The Museum of Cambridge is delighted to be named as the Charity of the Year by local pub The Castle Inn, marking the beginning of an exciting new community partnership. The collaboration will be launched with the return of the Museum’s popular Pub Quiz Night, taking place at The Castle Inn at 7pm, on Thursday 19th March, to raise much needed funds for the Museum.
The Museum of Cambridge, set in the 17th century White Horse Inn, is an independent charity exploring 300 years of local history. The Museum relies on community support to care for its unique collection and share the stories of Cambridgeshire’s people and places. The collection even includes an historic watercolour of The Castle Inn, which has been a pub since the 1740s, highlighting the longstanding link between the two.

Organised by the Museum’s dedicated fundraising volunteer group, the Pub Quiz Night promises all the fun of a classic quiz while raising vital funds to support the Museum and care for its unique collection. Tickets are a £10 donation per person and include a free ticket to visit the Museum another time, with prizes generously donated by local businesses.

The Pub Quiz Night Fundraiser starts at 7pm on 19th March at The Caste Inn. Spaces are limited, and early booking is encouraged.
