Museum of Cambridge joins Heritage Compass

“We are so excited to be a part of the Heritage Compass programme.”

The Museum of Cambridge is pleased to announce that we have been offered a place on the two-year Heritage Compass programme.

Heritage Compass is a National Lottery Heritage Funded Business Support Programme launched by Cause4 in 2020. The programme is designed to grow resilience and invigoration in the heritage sector in England.

The Museum of Cambridge is one of 150 small to medium cultural heritage organisations taking part in the programme. Our Development Manager, Annie Davis, and Operations & Facilities Manager, Maddie Cox, are representing the Museum through tailored training, mentoring, and peer learning sessions, as well as creating new partnerships and relationships with the network.

Annie Davis says, “We are so excited to be a part of the Heritage Compass programme. It is a huge vote of confidence to have the support of the team at Cause4 to develop our skills and network with others in the industry.”

Maddie Cox says, “I am looking forward to being a part of the Heritage Compass programme and working with everyone throughout this experience to share ideas, skills, techniques, and advice to ensure our cultural institutions continue to go from strength to strength.”

With support from Heritage Compass, The Museum of Cambridge will be developing our Strategy and Business Plan, as well as building up our resilience and sustainability as an organisation. We are looking forward to this two-year journey with Cause4 and Heritage Compass and thank them for this opportunity.
